Mes Demoiselles Autumn Winter 2011/2012

Mes Demoiselles Autumn Winter 2011/2012

I love discovering something new. I stumbled across these photos from Parisian brand Mes Demoiselles Autumn Winter collection of 2011 and am now obsessed with Mes Demoiselles. Already having the hat in the first photo, I promptly searched the web to scrounge up pieces to add to my wardrobe and being the nerd that I am, google translated the sites “L’histoire” . Love it!

Here is “L’histoire” in English:

The first collection was hatched in the studio at 45 rue Charlot in 2006. From the first presentation, the brand has been embraced by an immediate success which has only been confirmed over the years.

Anita Radovanovic, the designer’s look soft and mischievous is the soul of the house. Through her inspiration, she invites us to travel in countries where the dreamlike retro charm of lace flirt with antique volumes under parasols of silk and cotton as the stitches come oversize warm vaporous silhouettes.

Ladies … Paris, is an invitation to dance and grace of movement.
An exquisite dream that awakens our senses, where the delicate prints on chiffon flutter as light shimmers on the embroideries that remind us of the Silk Road from India to the heart of the Balkans.

Wrapped in a cocoon of softness, the girl slips into her tunic of gauze or her silk dress as a nomad through the city to find the sea …
