5 Sandal Styles You Need to make it through Summer:

  1. The Classic Leather
  2. The Basic Black
  3. The Metallic
  4. The Wedge
  5. The Fashionista

The Classic Leather Sandal pretty much goes with everything.  I always recommend a cognac color to start with.  If you go with a chocolate brown you can’t wear it with black and other darker colors. With the cognac color, there is enough red in the brown to go with any color under the sun, including pairing them with black.

The-Basic-Black-Sandal

The Basic Black Sandal is a good go to when you want a less casual sandal.  Black is simplistic and minimalistic. It also can bring a little edge to an outfit not to mention stays true to color and doesn’t patina like the cognac leather. I recommend a simple style when choosing black.  You don’t want your foot overwhelmed in black leather, unless that is your style-industrial. A t-strap sandal is a nice choice.

The-Metallic-Sandal

The Metallic Sandal is a wonderful choice for a whimsical look.  It is nice to wear to a casual event or wedding.  It is also sporty when paired with stripes, white, or anything nautical themed. I recommend an antiqued gold color.  Silver is nice too or you could opt for pewter.

Wedge

The Wedge Sandal is perfect for when you are attending events on terrain like grass, brick, gravel, or walking about.  It is a nice alternative to a heel and can look a bit more feminine.  This is also perfect for you petite ladies and adds height while elongating your legs.  I recommend a very neutral color wedge.  Nude, blush, or cognac are all nice colors to start with.

5Sandals

The Fashionista Sandal is meant to be playful.  This is when you can choose your personal style and steer away from the minimal chic look.  I love a good boho sandal with embroidery, tassels, even studs can be fun. If you are on trend, then you may even throw in a Birkenstock or Slide.
